Patricia Brown was born on the west coast of Canada, and has lived on Saltspring Island, British Columbia for many years, raising her three children and working on her passion for painting. The island landscape and creative environment have been an ideal place to develop her imagery, which is a reflection of Patricia's love of the earth, and her desire to be a part of the solution, not the problem.

Having studied drafting and architecture, many of Patricia's paintings display the precision and symmetry influenced by the discipline inherent in architectural drawings. Combined with a profound love of the myriad of forms found in the natural environment, colour and a discerning insight into the cycles of life, her work is both balanced and meticulously detailed, not unlike nature herself.
